Getting IT Decision Makers Buy-in at HIMSS

It’s no secret that you have to pitch the loop these days and get everyone’s buy in. I read an interesting report that says physicians use mobile devices in their personal life, but it’s hard to get IT’s buy in a hospital setting.  If you are going to HIMSS please make sure that you have set plenty of pre-set meetings with CIO’s (IT Decision Makers).  The decision makers are going to be at HIMSS, but typically will not walk up to your booth for you to sell them.  Start from the top and work your way down.  Essentially: “pitch the loop”.  This will help you to get your product implemented and not just talked about!

If you would like to join a dinner we are hosting at HIMSS please let me know.  You can see the current attendees to our dinner below.
